Diamond received her Undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina in psychology and her Graduate Degree from Northwestern University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Diamond believes counseling is a cohesive relationship that helps individuals, couples, families, and groups accomplish mental health wellness and career/life goals. Diamond has experience working with adults that struggle with conditions like anxiety, depression, and PTSD and assisting individuals and couples solve life and work stressors. Diamond is also experienced working with couples with premarital counseling and couples counseling. Additionally, Diamond is a United States Airforce veteran; she is comfortable working with vets and current military members. She is knowledgeable about the different issues that military members face.
Diamond understands that context matters and must be considered when attempting to understand individuals' struggles. Her clinical approach is multicultural and solution-focused. Diamond believes there is no one size fits all model for mental health wellness, which is why she is passionate about getting to know each client and tailoring the counseling experience to them personally.
